Mervyns is going out of business
I was shocked when I heard that department store chain Mervyns is going out of business. I kinda suspected that they will be out of business as they sought to file under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. They have a total of 149 stores across the country. They are planning to shut down after holiday season. I guess, it is good to check out some great deals at Mervyns right now. Anyway, Mervyns has been operating their business since 1949 (It is really sad after 59 years). Too bad for the employees. What’s going on with our economy?!
