My baby boy is not feeling well

I was so nervous last night when my baby’s temp raised a bit than normal. He had a slight fever last night. It wasn’t 101 , it was just a round 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Since he didn’t seem well and had been waking up a lot last night, in which I wondered before I knew he was hot, so I gave him acetaminophen to help him feel better. I don’t know if it was because I wrapped him so warm last night or something was going with him. I noticed he hasn’t been eating well lately. I don’t know if it’s because he’s teething. But I just hope he doesn’t have any infection or something. I will do whatever I can do to help my son. I hate to see him not feeling well, though he still seems active, playful and smiling.

This is the gift that I was talking about in my previous post. Don’t you think they look really cute? It’s Marks and Spencer baby stuff. I can’t wait for my baby to wear these. They are actually way bigger for my baby, but you know what babies outgrow their clothes really fast.

A package

I was very surprised to receive a package from my friend in UK on Friday. The package was for my son’s birthday, though I think it was too early for him to receive any gifts. His birthday is next month. My friend sent the package earlier because she had a bad experience sending a parcel to me last year. The package took a 7 weeks until I got it. Anyhow, it was so sweet and very nice of her giving those baby stuff to my little guy. I really appreciate it! I will post a photo of the baby stuff in my later post.

I’ve been very busy these days lately. One of my husband’s friends wanted me to make a website for his tribute band. So, I said yes but I told him that it was free, I was pretty excited about it so I can put it in my portfolio site. I made two mock up websites for his band for him to choose. After he picked one out, he told me that he’s sending me something in the mail. I felt weird about it. Four days passed by, I received his mail. Surprisingly, I saw a cashier’s check in the mail. I felt kind of weird about it. I can’t even tear it because he already paid for it. But thank God, it was such a blessing. I didn’t expect him to pay me. It was a blessing from God! Now, I’m still working on his site. He’s not really in hurry to get it done. That means I’m going to take my time to make really good!

Fun vacation

I really enjoyed our vacation here in Oregon. I’m glad that I brought my laptop with me so I can still do blogging. I can check my emails, messages, etc. So far, our vacation here is full of fun. We jog almost every day. In fact, we jogged in the rain the other day. I didn’t know that it’s fun to run in the rain until I tried it. While jogging in the trail, me and my niece saw a few coyotes behind us about 300 ft away. We ran off as much as we can. It was very scary because our companions were way ahead of us. We shouted so they could hear us. Thank God, the coyotes didn’t follow us. Coyotes could kill us anytime. That’s one of the things that I can’t forget during our vacation.

Happy New Year everyone!

I was in bed when midnight struck. Actually, I fell asleep at around 10PM, I was gonna wake up at 11PM to stay up until midnight, but I wasn’t able to. I was really tired. I had a long day yesterday and plus, I stayed up late the other night. I woke up before midnight to use the bathroom, but everyone was already asleep. I just went back to bed and listen to the fireworks outside. When I was a kid, my family would stay up late to welcome the new year. We would watch fireworks and listen to firecrackers in our neighborhood. It was really fun. I missed those times. When I got married and moved here in the U.S, I don’t do that stuff anymore. New Year’s eve is celebrated in a different way here. Anyhow, Happy New Year to everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I am here in Oregon today celebrating Christmas holidays with my in-laws. It is so much fun. So far, it’s the best Christmas I’ve experienced here in the U.S. We arrived here yesterday evening. I was glad that my husband didn’t have to work on Saturday. We left San Diego on Friday night. It was a long road trip, which took us 19 hours including a few stops at the rest stop and gas station. We had fun during the trip, though my little boy wasn’t happy about it because he can’t move in his car seat. I also got dizzy when we were on the mountain pass. The road was winding and tight. Overall, it was a good trip. The weather wasn’t bad at all. Now, we are celebrating Christmas. We are just waiting until the lasagna is baked. Merry Christmas everyone!

Leaving tonight

I am excited about our trip to Oregon. We are going to leave tonight instead of tomorrow. I am glad about it so we’ll be there on Christmas eve. I must admit that I wasn’t prepared about this schedule, but it’s great that we are going to leave tonight. I went to the store to get a big bag for my clothes, I didn’t realize that we only have 2 big bags. Thank God that I was able to find a cheap travel bag. And you know how much it cost? It only cost $7. It’s pretty big, however, I don’t know if it’s durable. Well, I really don’t care since we are going to drive not fly. The travel bag is just going to stay in the trunk. If I was to fly, I’d probably get a durable one. Well, I better go and continue packing things up.

It’s raining apples!

There was an unexplained shower of apples happened in a small British town the other day. It is still unexplainable. It was said in the news that the apple show has left 20 yards of city streets and car windshields covered in the cascading fruit after rush hour. I wonder what caused this strange phenomenon. However, people think and compare this incident to biblical tales of raining frogs. But good thing, it was just apples haha. Seriously, this is really strange. Don’t you think so?

Coffee, coffee! Oh, I love coffee! I was about 7 years old the first time I tasted instant coffee. You know what I didn’t mind the taste. Who doesn’t like coffee, right?
