Puppies or Babies?
This post brought to you by Puppies vs. Babies. All opinions are 100% mine.
Which is cuter? Puppies or Babies? This is a very challenging question. I have an 8-month old and I think he is very adorable and cute. But when I see puppies, they just melt my heart. Don’t you think it’s kind of confusing, which is cuter? Actually, there’s an online contest called, Puppies vs. Babies.

I was really surprised when I learned about the Puppies vs. Babies online contest. I never heard of something like this contest before. I thought it was silly at first. After a while, I thought the contest is fun and cute.
Even though not all babies are cute, but my little guy is very cute. I just love to cuddle and kiss my baby. And it’s undeniable that babies smell better than puppies. In other words, my vote is for babies.
Puppies vs. Babies contest is taking votes until November 23rd. The winning puppy or baby will receive $5,000. I wish I could have entered the photo of my baby into this contest, but it’s too late. They no longer accept any submission of photos.
So, puppies or babies? Well, that’s up to you. Vote for your choice now! Let me know who are you going to vote for.
Providing a better future for my family
Life is unpredictable and full of surprises. I remember I was really astonished when I got pregnant last year. I almost couldn’t believe that my dream has come true. I was the happiest person in the world at that time. Now that I have a baby, I feel more responsible with my family and life. There are many inevitable things in life that we cannot control. I feel more serious with my life now. I guess, everything changes once you build a family. I must admit that I think about the future of my family. It scares me when I think about them when I pass away. Who wouldn’t, right?
To make my comfortable in that area, I want to get life insurance. That will be one of the things that I can leave to my children when I’m gone. I don’t want them to suffer financially. I want to provide them a better future.
I know there are many life insurance plans being offered these days, but I would prefer cheap life insurance. Life insurance that is affordable enough to provide my children a brighter future when I’m gone. I want to start shopping around for insurance quotes.
Summer is in the air
Wow, time runs fast. Well, summer is really in the air! It is getting hotter these days. I should always protect my skin from the sun and double my sunscreen. And you know hot weather always means outdoor activities. Sounds fun huh? But we could also possibly encounter heat-related illness. Here are some things we should consider this summertime:
- We should wear lightweight, light-colored clothing. Don’t you know that light colors will reflect away some of the sun’s energy? However, wear hats or to use an umbrella.
- Drink water or juice with you if you do not feel thirsty. Avoid alcohol and caffeine, which can dehydrate the body.
- Stay indoors when possible.
- And lastly don’t forget to wear sunblock with high SPF.
Have a great summer! Enjoy!
Young adults born via c-section are more likely to become obese
Young adults born via Cesarean section are more likely to become obese. I don’t know how true this is. I came across this topic or news at msnbc website today. It caught my attention since I delivered my baby via c-section. This theory, however, is still very controversial. If you know anybody who was via c-section, let me know if he or she is obese now. The theory is infants born via C-section are not exposed to the beneficial bacteria in the birth canal. It might take longer for them to accumulate the Bifidobacteria and other microbes. These friendly bacteria could influence metabolism. It is believed that obese adults have fewer friendly bacteria in their digestive tract than normal-weight people do. I don’t know about this theory but I know my sister was born vaginally and she is obese now. So, let’s see if my son would turn obese in his adulthood life.
