Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday following right after Black Friday, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day here in the U.S. Many people or consumers start their holiday shopping today. Cyber Monday has become one of the biggest online shopping days of the year. It is the busiest day of online retailers, like Amazon, Tiger Direct, JC Penny, Walmart, Best Buy and many online stores that are offering huge discounts mostly on electronics.
Most people are off from work, or on break from school, so they have the time to prepare for the holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone!
Today is the celebration of Thanksgiving here in the U.S. Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday on the month of November. It started since 1863, President Abraham Lincoln during Civil war, proclaimed a national day of thanksgiving to be celebrated on Thursday, November 26. The “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated by the Pilgrims to give thanks to God for guiding them safely to the New World, America. The first Thanksgiving feast lasted three days, providing enough food for 53 Pilgrims and 90 Native Americans. The feast consisted of fish and shellfish, turkey, berries and fruit, vegetables and harvest grains and beans. The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating “thanksgivings”—days of prayer thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought.

Health care workers now wear medical scrubs uniform. The uniforms back then were just plain white. They did not look very attractive. Excited about Thanksgiving Day
I’m pretty excited for Thanksgiving Day. Our friends invited us to join their Thanksgiving dinner. I am going to bring Julian apple pie and cook cabbage with dried cranberries. I already got Julian apple pie on Sunday at Albertson’s. I wanted to get it soon so I don’t want to worry if Albertsons is out of apple pie. I love Julian apple pie. I think it’s the best apple pie ever. It’s not like those apple pie that you normally get at the grocery store. This kind of apple pie just melts in your mouth. It’s kind of expensive, which is $14 but it’s really worth it.
