Beware of phishers

In dealing with emails, you should Watch out for spam or should we call it as Phishy emails. Phishing is emails playing to be an official retailer, bank, organization, or government agency. The sender usually asks to “verify” your personal information for some fabricated reasons. It normally states that your account is about to be closed, an order for something has been placed in your name, or your information has been lost because of a computer problem. Those are common statements they usually give. I received a lot of emails like that. But I don’t panic at all. I just simply report them as spam. I really like using gmail because it has automatic detection of spam emails. Another method that phishers use is to say they’re from the fraud departments of distinguished companies and ask to verify your information because they suspect you may be a victim of identity theft! Don’t get suckered. Phishers would also say that they are from a state lottery commission and requested people’s banking information to deposit their prize in their accounts. Phishers are everywhere not only on the net. I remember I received a text message before, saying that I won from a lottery. At first I got excited but then I realized that would be impossible. It was hoax or scam. So, be cautious with phishers.
